Please Keep Our Brother in Your Prayers

Well, Mary Amelia and I are off to Maryland to be with our brother, Brooke, during his surgery tomorrow. We will stay with him until Friday when his girlfriend, Sue, will take over so we can drive back to N.C. to attend our brother-in-law's wedding on Sat. in Winston-Salem. Our brother-in-law is marrying a wonderful woman (who also lost her spouse to cancer) and we wish them all the happiness in the world.

These are bitter-sweet times for the Rector/Ashcraft/Witzig clan. We know that God has us all in His hands, but sometimes it's a little more difficult to have confidence that "all things are working to the good for those who love the Lord". Please remember us in your prayers. We really appreciate it--especially now.
